I finally got off my rear-end and decided to jump on the blogging bandwagon! Lately, everywhere I look, I see people raving about Blogging and how its reshaping the internet as we know it, so I guess I might as well see what the hype is all about.

Picking a blogging platform turned out to be a trivial task, since WordPress appeared to be the tool of choice for the “independent bloggers”, as opposed to the “hosted bloggers”, out there in the wild. Its GPL’ed (read: free), easy to install and work with, and comes with a bunch of Features straight out of the box. You could also customize the L&F through any of the gazillion themes offered at the Theme Browser or at this Comprehensive List of themes. I went with the SlatyStain theme for now.
